With a 61.9 percent market share, Android has surpassed iOS to become the leading OS on tablets. Still in the leading position in 2012 with 52.8 percent of the tablet market, Apple's iOS saw its share drop to just 36 percent by the end of 2013. However, the strongest growth was seen from Samsung, which quadrupled its tablet sales over the year.
