Boeing filed papers this week with the Federal Communications Commission describing the phone, which is called Boeing Black, uses Google's Android system and is made in the US. "The Boeing Black smartphone was designed with security and modularity in mind to ensure our customers can use the same smartphone across a range of missions and configurations," it adds without specifying if the phone is already on sale. The phone will be earmarked mainly toward government defense and homeland defense agencies and their sub-contractors, Boeing said in papers filed with the FCC.
