Project Tango may just be one of the coolest Google Android phones so far, although the phone will not be available for purchase anytime soon. Google has confirmed the new project coming from its ATAP division – which is short for Advanced Technology and Projects – which has been in development for over a year, and which Google will now share with 200 lucky developers that will get to create new apps to take advantage of its awesome features. Project Tango phones use a complex array of sensors that track motion in closed environments, and can build a visual 3D map of rooms and other indoors areas.
