The great mobile price wars of 2014 are officially on. Leaked documents obtained by Android Police-show that Verizon plans to announce that it’s increasing all of its data cap tiers from 500MB, 1GB and 2GB to 1GB, 2GB and 3GB, respectively. Even better, these upgrades will be given automatically to customers on Verizon’s Share Everything plans and won’t cost any extra. But that’s not all: Verizon is also slashing prices for customers who subscribe to its Edge early smartphone upgrade plans. As Android Police explains, “Edge customers are also seeing a price break of $10 for plans on 8GB or less of data, and $20 for 10GB or more.” This last move is particularly significant because Verizon has said repeatedly
