The device will run a modified version of the operating system, with Google features including Nokia apps such as Here and MixRadio plus access to its own Nokia Store. The same strategy was chosen by Amazon, whose tablets running a customized version of Android. Microsoft made a deal to buy Nokia’s mobile device business in 2013.
