In August 2012, Google-owned Motorola Mobility filed a complaint against Apple stating that the iPhone developer had violated several patents, including one covering signal noise reduction, another involving email notifications and one covering video players. After nearly a year of deliberation, the International Trade Commission ruled last April that Apple was innocent of any infringements. Reuters is now reporting that the U.S. Court of Appeals has upheld the decision, putting an end to the drawn out lawsuit once and for all.
