On the other hand, the iPhone 5c has apparently been a mixed bag for Apple. While the phone seems to be fairly popular in some regions and one market research firm believes the phone is exactly what Apple needed, production orders were reportedly slashed pretty early on as demand wasn’t quite where Apple thought it would be. In Japan, however, demand is apparently very strong — various versions of Apple’s iPhones comprise all nine of the nine best-selling smartphones in the country.
