Lets get a list all phones we can hard reset with either Keypress (vol up+vol down+power) or numerical codes


On some of the older Samsungs I607(blackjack1) and below remove the sim card power up the phone and type
2767*3855#
this will hard reset the device, or press
Up Nav Key+Power

LG Incite CT810
Remove & replace the battery 1st
Hold down at the same time:
Vol down+Camera+power until the Windows Mobile screen appears.

Touch pro
1. Pull out the stylus.
2. With the device turned on, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, then press the RESET button with the stylus tip.
3. Release the RESET button, but continue pressing the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons until you see this message on the screen:
4. Release the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, then press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.


Treo 755p
remove the battery, then re-insert it while holding the power button down. On the Treo 755P, you need to keep holding the power button until after the orange Palm logo goes by. Once you see the "Powered by Access" logo, you can release it and you'll get a warning prompt asking if you want to delete everything.

treo 700
Press and hold Power/End . While holding Power/End, use the tip of the stylus to depress and release the RESET button.


HTC 6800
1. Press and hold both softkeys on the device. Keep these keys pressed, and at the same time, use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button on the bottom of your device.
NOTE: I had no idea which of the many keys were considered the soft keys. They are the two buttons above the phone control buttons.

2. Release the stylus but keep the softkeys pressed when you see the following message on your device screen:
“Do you want to erase all user data and restore to manufacture default?”
3. Slide open the hardware keyboard, and press R to restore to factory default or press X to exit the hard reset process.

Motorola Cliq Hard Reset
Power off>
hold down Camera button then powering on>
release Camera button when asked>
press volume down [recovery mode]>
wait for it>
press alt+[w]



Motorola Blurr Hard Reset

From the Orange website:


Ensure the handset is completely switched off before the reset is attempted.


1. Press and hold the Camera key down, then tap the On button.
2. Release the Camera key when advised.
3. A black screen appears, with green writing. At this stage press the Down volume key to select Recovery Mode.
4. An icon appears, showing a triangle containing an exclamation mark above a handset.
5. Slide open the keypad then press and hold the ALT key and tap the W key.
6. The handset will restart to complete the reset.



HTC Touch Pro2 Hard reset

1. Remove the battery
2. Press Sent Call, End Call, Power and reinsert the battery. Then just follow the on screen instructions
(remove the back cover, as you looking at the back of the phone, the reset hole is on the right hand side about ½” – ¾” above the SD mem slot)

These are all for Samsung, I use the full one all the time.

the sammy reset is universal as for lg i cant recall on the top of my head

Samsung Moment

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Power down phone & remove battery
2) Insert battery w/o powering phone back on
3) Simultaniously press the volume down button, green call button & red end button - hold all 3 down until SAMSUNG appears on screen and appears to be turning on
4) A menu w/ options will appear, choose the bottom option (master reset device) - phone will erase all codes and programming (could take a minute, will show codes on screen being erased in yellow)
5) When all is reset, will return to previous menu - choose 1st option to reboot the device
6) Phone will reboot and power on

GSM >>>>HTC G2<<<<<

1/ Switch off the phone (either removing the battery or shutting down by holding the "end call" button for few seconds
2/ While being switched off, hold the "home" (house) and "back" (the arrow in the lower right corner)
3/ Hit briefly the "end call" button" while still holding the "home" and "back" buttons.
4/ Release the "home" and "back" button, a white screen containing technical information should appear, with a red message asking for hitting the "menu" button.
5/ Hit the "menu button", the Hero will now boot with factory settings.

Master Reset G1
1. Power off the G1
2. Hold Home Key + End key for 20 seconds or until you see a "triangle with an exclamation point and a picture of the G1"
3. Open the QWERTY keyboard and hit Alt+W
4. Restored!

Master Reset Motorola Q/Q9
-Hold the center directional button and the power button until the
phone prompts for yes or no.

Master Reset Samsung Intrepid (SPH-i350)
1) Push and hold the power button until the 'Shutdown' box appears
2) Touch 'OK' to power down the handset
3) Press and hold the 'Enter/Settings' key (silver rectangular button in the middle of the directional pad) and the power button to restart the handset. (Do NOT let go of either key until the format screen appears)
4) Touch the green Talk key to begin formatting the handset

Master Reset Blackjack 2 I610
With the phone powered off, press and hold UP on the directional pad.
Then, turn on the device and continue to hold the UP key until you see a message on the screen.
You will be prompted to select 1 for reset or any other key to cancel.

:^/ Here's one that I though had been covered already, but apparently hasn't: For Palm Treos, at the dialer interface, hit ##RTN# (For Sprint, #*#RTN# for others.) This will open an RTN screen, which has a menu. One of the items is reset, which will prompt for the SPC/MSL. Once that's done, it will wipe the phone clean. (RTN stands for Return To New, see....) The advantage is that you don't have to remove the battery or hold any reset buttons down or anything.

Samsung Impression Master Reset

Hard reset the Samsung Impression smartphone if you wish to set everything back to factory defaults. This will clear all data from the phone.
1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Reset Settings.
3. Check All.
4. Select Reset.
5. Enter your password if prompted.
6. From the Reset Settings? prompt, tap Yes.

How to Master Reset on your LG Xenon

Answer:
1.Go to Top Menu (hit the square with 4 dots)
2.Go to Settings (gear)
3.Tap Phone
4.Tap Reset Settings
5.Tap Master Reset
6.If it asks for a security code (and you haven’t set one), use 0000

How to Master Clear on your LG Xenon

Answer:
1.Go to Top Menu (hit the square with 4 dots)

Blackberry 70**and 80** series master reset
Go to Options (wrench icon)
Go to Security
Highlight General Settings
Click Blackberry Option button
Select "Wipe Handheld"
type blackberry
sit back and relax until phone completes the wipe cycle.

Hard reset for droid
Open the keyboard and press the X key while pressing and holding Power. The device will power on. Keep holding the buttons down until a yellow triangle appers.Press the Camera and Volume Up buttons at the same time to get menu. Then format and reboot.
