Hey I just got the dongle in. I plugged it up, installed it, and then got the Blackberry Tour SPC in about 10 minutes. They weren't kidding when they said "slow". lmao
But it works. That is the good part. Thanks everyone for the help.

I got it from Cell corner. I will send you the link in a minute. I tried dealing directly with Furious Gold. But they don't seem to answer their emails. I guess it is new year over there or something.

good info! did it generate it from the imei? or it read teh phone?

I purchased mine for less than 170 USD, with just Blackberry & HTC packs...

make sure you check out with EUR price, if you check out with US price it wants to charge you 168 EUR instead of 119 EUR...

Can anyone verify if either of the items menitoned above can read the SPC for the 8530. I searched on their website and could not find this model number as one of their supported models.

i have this dongle but only work gsm phone can some body tell me how to read sprint spc >

Well smitty said it doesnt work on spc but will acquire the MEP code. I have one coming tomorrow regardless so Ill double check smitty but I believe him that it doesnt get sprint spc/msl codes.

I believe it too. lol. I have a $300 usb drive that is worthless to me.
