Black Friday may be more than two weeks away, but retailers are already out of the gate en masse with their promotional information and sales circulars, so shoppers can start getting prepared for the biggest shopping day of the year. A number of those deals will give shoppers access to Android-based devices at unheard-of prices.
While Black Friday has traditionally gotten started very early on the morning of Friday after Thanksgiving (with some stores opening their doors at midnight), this year, Black Friday is coming so early it's actually starting on Thursday (http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/personalfinance/2013/11/12/walmart-black-friday-deals-early-openings/3501037/). Many major retailers, including Walmart and Target, are opening for business on Thanksgiving evening. You won't even have time to digest your holiday feast before hauling yourself to the store... but given how incredible some of these deals are, you may not have a choice.
Here's a look at where the very best deals -- at least the ones that have been announced so far -- and where they can be found.
1. Samsung Galaxy S4Everyone's deeply discounting this Qualcomm Snapdragon (http://www.pcworld.com/partner/qualcomm/home/)-powered smart phone, but no one's got a better deal than Best Buy (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Misc/Black-Friday/pcmcat225600050002.c?id=pcmcat225600050002), which is giving it away for free (with a two-year service plan). That even includes the Best Buy-exclusive blue version. Sales begin on Thanksgiving at 6pm.
