Reuters reports that BlackBerry interim CEO-John Chen said on Monday that the company has no plans to shut down its handset business even though sales of its new BlackBerry 10 devices have been absolutely dismal. Chen said that the company still has “enough ingredients to build a long-term sustainable business” and that he was confident the company could turn itself around given enough time. Chen thinks that it will take six quarters to change BlackBerry’s fortunes and won’t make any other major management changes.
