complete generics dll rar was downloaded all installed

vx11k.dll registered and using 2.0.29.0 generic dll from other posts

comes up as unknown, able to choose vx11k.dll, but once chosen no new options come up as they normally do on other phones, anything else I'll need to be using?

I'm using Lab 1.2

I've had no success with LG Lab Level 1.2, so I canned it and went back to 1.1.

Every time I've seen the Model listed as "UNKNOWN" I simply select my DLL, quit LGNPST and then relaunch. This has always resolved the "UNKNOWN" model issue for me in LGNPST Lab Lavel 1.1.

Check your Model folder. Do you see a "Components 2.0" directory listed here? The enV Touch requires the following components (sorry for the formatting, pasted directly from the Setting.xml file in the VX11000 model folder):

<COMPONENT_INFO>
<LGNPST_COMPONENTS>
<CommandProcessor>2.0.1.0</CommandProcessor>
<BaseModel2>2.0.2.0</BaseModel2>
<BasicComControl2>2.0.0.0</BasicComControl2>
<Command>2.0.6.0</Command>
<DLManager2>2.0.2.0</DLManager2>
<EFS>2.0.6.0</EFS>
<Flash>2.0.6.0</Flash>
<Log2>2.0.5.0</Log2>
<MemoryTransfer>2.0.1.0</MemoryTransfer>
<NVStorage2>2.0.9.0</NVStorage2>
<PortManager2>2.0.0.0</PortManager2>
<Script2>2.0.2.0</Script2>
<UI>2.0.1.0</UI>
<Utility2>2.0.1.0</Utility2>
</LGNPST_COMPONENTS>

If the necessary components are not installed, you will not be able to NV Edit.

Let me know if this helps...

There is a Phone Settings OCX and a Phone Settings 2 OCX that does the same things as K3rrsed just posted. That is also in this forum.

Lately I've noticed when flashing enV Touches that I don't need to enter the ##LGSERVICEMENU to change diag port from null to USB. Instead, I connect the data cable and if it doesn't connect correctly on a Modem or COM port, I simply go to the Menu on the phone (not the programming menu, just the standard menu) and for some reason Device Manager changes the connection from a Mass Storage Device to a standard Modem and COM port.

Can anyone verify this?

The vx8575 dll package has the lgnpst lab version in it.
Thats the one that i used, and it works great with all dll's :)

Hello All,
First post and I apologize if this is not in correct context but Ive become extremely frustrated with this phone. Ive been studying for weeks and beat my head into the wall trying to get LGNPST, and Bitpm working finally got a working flash except its not. No Web Data MMS. Talk and text only. Problem I believe is in my username as I flash using RIP's files and edited properly I believe replacing the 0's with my MDN. Only problem is the username doesn't revert to my MDN instead it uses my MIN. which is different. Ive gone into the service programming mode and tried to change this setting but alas it wont allow me to delete any characters (by using the clear button) only add characters. My first thought was to add the correct MDN and enter several spaces and hope it would take the first 10 digits? But as this is my main working cell atm I am hesitant to possibly brick this ? It accepts the overwrite by Bitpm because it does change my wap settings but I can't get the username to revert to the MDN. Is it possibly calling this from somewhere else in the file or kernel ? Any help greatly appreciated.
