Uncaught exception:
ApplicationRegistry.waitFor
(0x3bc6259193b4b87c)
timeout

And no browser icon.

What I've tried:
Reflashing completely step by step

reloading service books

Legacy mode, then reflashing

still nothing. any ideas?

RELOAD ORIGINAL SERVICE BOOKS AND THEN TRY TO LOAD NEW SERVICEBOOKS OR TRY TO USE A DIFFERENT SET OF SERVICEBOOKS

Load the browser daemon back onto the phone via crackutil

yup, that error means you havne't loaded the browser daemon back onto it.

oh I did use crack util and reloaded, after restart it still gives that error

what I found strange:
I removed browser and the phone did not restart

So I manually restarted the phone
Then proceeded as usual.
ended up still getting that error (which is normal when doing 2nd step)

I thought that ALT SBEB made it so you didnt need to use the CrackUtil...

service books are loading fine, just no browser pops up, even checked "switch application" which it sometimes hides in there. whats wierd is that the blackberry is recognizing the servicebooks being there and everything as well

Is there an IT policy set? i had an 8830 the other day that wouldn't load the browser icon and it was due to the IT policy. If that's the case open crackutil and go to the very last tab and follow the instructions to "reset IT policy"

Thats exactly what it is, IT policy needs to be reset. But in doing so you will lose all data unless you back it up.

Or you can also download the latest firmware from blackberry website and update the software completely then try putting the cricket service books. It always works for me.
