it can be loader in tot file if you have the right tool for it. if you have it i give you vx5600 tot file

There's not generic firmware for VX9200, there is LG9250 wish is compatible with VX9200, but not public yet.

NVscript parameter is invalid when flashing the scr file. I also just found the firmware for LG9250. But not sure how to install it. Thanks for your replies and help. I am greatful

I can upload again the scr for you.
How flash VX9200 with LG9250 is not really hard, but do on your own risk.
Put in emergency mode then load lg9250 firmware to your VX9200.

It didn't work I still get the invalid scr. It looks like its not fully erasing when doing the re flashing. The problem seems to have started with version 7. Even downgrading doesn't help.

But I did try flashing to the lg9250 firmware and it worked! But its not recognized in bitpim anymore. It detects but shows unknown so it blocks writing to the phone and I can't seem to find usb drivers for the software. But the phone works again thats the important thing. Hopefully I can up the firmware for others.

Any place I should use to upload?

I get the message "Security Error: Untrusted Server Certificate".

I called Verizon about this issue, they told me that the newer software version would fix this issue, and then told me they no longer are able to provide the update for my phone... :grumpy:

I originally used LGNPST, I see the emergency mode you refer too, if you are talking about LGDownload, but it asks for a Service Program Code, I have tried several things, such as 000000 and it pauses a minute and does nothing.

also, I do not have the 02 scr, and the odd thing I am noticing with LGdownload is that it will not let me select the DLL, it says "there is no correct model string" and under model name it says Unknown.

EDIT: The .rar containing the .scr file seems to be lacking the brew folder and brew.sfv, based on the errors i am getting from LGNPST when I try to "refurbish".

When I goto refurbish and select the SCR provided, this is all that ends up at the end of the log file. Don't know if this helps....

I don't see a brew.sfv, and searching on google, I don't find any info on one...

Thanks for the help, but I think this phone is screwed. The most recent SCR you provided fixed the Menu/Brew problems, but apparently at some point during all this the MEID got wiped to all zeros. From what I can tell, it's pretty much junk.

Got it working, you're right, it wasn't that hard. What an adventure with this phone, you know whats funny though? After all that bs, the firmware didn't fix the SSL problem with the browser! Oh well, I learned some stuff anyway. Thanks again Rich.
