Samsung is about to beat Apple to the punch by announcing its Galaxy Gear smartwatch far ahead of Apple’s expected iWatch unveiling next year — and it won’t be the first time Samsung beats Apple to an announcement. The South Korea-based electronics giant on Wednesday unveiled the Galaxy Golden, an Android flip phone that features twolending device3.7-inch AMOLED displays with WVGA resolution. According to SammyHub, other specs includelending devicea 1.7GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, LTE support, a 1,820 mAh battery and the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It also ships in a “champagne gold” color, which just so happens to be quite similar to what we’re expecting from Apple’s iPhone 5S when it is unveiled
