such a good guide also a little glitch if you add the data add on to the phone then go back too your account 24 hours later and disable the data add on plan, for some reason you will still have the data plan and just as long as you keep your account active I think its 10.00 every 3 months you will have unlimited data without paying the add-on.

incognito phone is the only one we can use?

For 3g its the only one we recommend using but then again we have tons of them to use. I know that it is getting harder and harder to get them and we just sold 10k of ours so for now were not selling anymore.

You can also use a sprint rant or a boost mobile rant and get true 3g data.

I think theres a few others but we have always just used incogs maybe others can post here what other TRUE 3g phones can be used for boost

The best phone I've found to use is the Palm Treo Pro. It has just been a personal favorite of mine when I would do this shit back in the day.

You can get them for $15 most of the time.

LMAO!!!!

I forgot about the treo! The only problem is make sure you get the DATA CORD if you order one because its NOT a micro!!!!

Also forgot we used to use the HTC Touch Pros as well for a long time before the Incognetos they work well - a bit buggy to com up sometimes but good 3g data I don't know if Boost would consider this a smart phone now or not that is the only issue because with smart phones the only paygo is 3.00 a day which is no good for boost mifi flashing.

The Treo Pro is Micro USB. The original Centro and Treo is that wide Motorola looking plug.

The Touch Pro and Touch Pro 2 was also a good easy phone to use.

Here's something I did several years ago... It was a project I started working to have a 3G hotspot on Boost before I did the MiFi.

My custom/homebrew Boost MiFi (clone). ([Only registered and activated users can see links](clone))

That is pretty sweet I remember casually following that when you posted it up origonally but I had moved on from mifi devices at that point as I went into remote flashing right about then. I was actually a late comer to mifi flashing

Those were the good ole days, back when I started Sprint2Boost and then it seemed like there was a "Sprint to Boost" service on every corner of the internet.

Hi and thank you for asking for guide ideas.

I am just now starting to get into MIFI's and was wondering if you might consider putting together a short guide about the current state of (as of today's date) MIFI flashing in regard to which ones are flashable and which ones are not, which ones are prefered technically, which ones give the best performance, which ones are the easiest to flash and other such commentary?

I have a Verizon 890L but have seen no information on working with it.

Also... I have read some post here on the subject but having all data together in one single guide regarding the above and also the best -----s to use and why, would be a great help.

Thanks,
John

It is similer but there are a few more steps actually activating the data on them also you would need the spc or the ability to read it. I use DFS Evolution (Not the free version) so that reads it but there are a few members here who sell an spc reader and there may even be a free solution out I'm not sure.

Can I use the Galaxy S4 as -----?

Thank you
I think you have your terminology wrong, there isnt a S4 to use as a "-----". You have to use a 3G phone in order to read the profiles as stated in the guide. you can flash an S4 though

Did you edit the NAM, SPC, and the M.IP Profile 0 and 1 to match those of your source device?

Thank for the reply.

I'm using cdma 2.7.0 and I copy everything from nam1 nam2,465,466,1192,1194, edit M.I.P with HA AAA to the device. So cdma 2.7.0 don't work is that my problem. So even with the wrong config it wouldn't show at lease it was connected to the network?

Thanks
