BlackBerry still hasn’t announced official launch details for BBM for Android or BBM for iOS, but that didn’t stop Samsung from making an official announcement this week. According to a press release picked up by N4BB, Samsung’s African arm has announced that BBM for Android will be available in Google Play and the Samsung app store “soon,” and that it will be free for all Galaxy smartphones. No specific details or launch timing were provided. Last week, BGR shared the first picture of BBM for Android running on a handset.and the app has reportedly been made available to early beta testers ahead of its public release.
