I have used the cracked 2.7 version to retrieve just did one the other day. Ya it takes some time but if you have it use it if not it's posted here.
For WS try these addresses
088A :088C
0872 :0874
0232 :0235
088A :088C
0872 :0874
088A :A7E5 byte 65536 sprint
088A :59A9 byte 65536 qwest
0249 :0254
0236 :0248
It should be in one of those locations.
You can also try this

Not really sure what's going on there. Never seen an ESN with a / in it before. Did you try the addresses. in CDMA WS 2.7.

Look in the security tab, SPC area, Start with universal ram and click read then it will ask you for addresses. You can also try the and universal EFS option. Like I said it takes time on a Sprint Katana you will find around 5 if I remember right.

I click security, then universal ram and ill show you what pops up it will not let me edit the right side of the colon to add your full string meaning i can only put in 088A but not 088C

Here's another way to Get the spc code from a Qwest Katana 1.
Using UniCDMA_098 (Any Should work)
Starting Address: 0x1de0000
Length Bytes: 786432
Read and save to file...
Save it to your desktop and name is Qwest Katana (or whatever)
Open the file using Notepad.
Click the "Edit" tab and go to find next.
Once there you will Type in 33284.
It will show you 3 sets of numbers. The first will be your user lock. Second i belive is the one time SPC Code.
The 3rd is the one your looking for..
If you have qxdm then type in
spc "yourspc#" hit enter.
then type.
Run cricket.scr
And your Katana is now flashed to cricket... Sorry if thats TMI...
Hope it helps...
