Verizon mifi 2200

Hi ive got this mifi 2200 thats flashed to vzw pp works fine and everything but for some reason it keeps either going dormant, or kicking me off line, seems to do it randomly even though im getting a signal.. is it possible to update the firmware in this.I never got no user guide with the mifi, so i dont know what causes this.. my virgin mobile on vzw doesnt do this at all...

they are famous for overheating and the radio will reset when they do.not saying thats your prob,just saying thats one of there problems.

ya i noticed is gets super hot, im gonna try putting ice packs around it. :)

i set it on a a/c vent and noticed when the air is on it is good and fast,when it goes off the mifi slows way down and then resets.
the jetpack is a way better device.

not trying to tell you what to do,but icepacks is a bad idea cuz of the water,you better put it ina sealed bag or something,i think you would be better served using a small fan instead of the ice idea.
