I have a Nexus S on Pageplus. My data is 1x, cdma.
Will the right PRL give me 3g?
Also, does anyone know how to get 3g on Sprint phones that are using Pageplus?

I have read many posts that say if you have a Sprint phone on pageplus the best you can do is a sporadic 3g. You may want to check out this link for more info.

I had my nexus s professionaly flashed to Pageplus.
I've been trying out different prls and noticed that i dont actually possess that specific prl anymore.
I did however manage to get 1x data working again.
Pm me and I'll send u the guide. Its super easy.

this is the prl i use and i get 3g solid in wilmington nc. you have to make sure you use simple ip and write nv. Also you can pm me. I am pp dealer and can help you get everything set up. Ignore the LGProvisioning zip unless you need it for another phone. I accidentally added it but you don't need it for the nexus. Oops

I have a Samsung Nexus S 4g Sprint phone and it has been flashed to work on Pageplus but I only show it doing 1X speed under "Mobile Network Type". It says CDMA - 1xRTT:7. The PRL version is P:52736. Can you tell me in detail how to get this up to 3g data speed? It is very slow the way it is now.

In the post before yours is a prl that would probably fix it..giving you EvDO or try the attached

What software did you use to flash it to pageplus? QPST or CDMA workshop? with QPST.. you go to Roam header and browse for preferred roaming and find the prl file and load it...in CDMA you go to Other and PRL and load it..

Not sure....my pageplus dealer flashed it for me but I believe I could do this prl step myself. Which of these programs do you recommend to do this? Does it matter which one I use since it is already flashed? Would I have to use the same program that was used to flash my phone to do the prl mod or doesn't it matter?

It doesn't matter which one but you will need the six digit SPC code to program the phone unless they left it unlocked with a 000000. ( have you tried programming over the air?)

No I haven't tried the ota option. So this is a Sprint phone and there are 2 options under "Sprint System Updates" called 1) Update Profiles and 2) Update PRL. Is that what you were talking about and which one should I try? So will either one of these options even have a chance to fix my 1X data problem being that this is a Sprint phone and I am on Pageplus now or doesn't it matter?

2) update PRL...but that may not work as it is a Sprint phone on Verizon network and you should get the Verizon prompt after other wise try *22899
Have you asked the PagePlus flasher ? for your info.. PRL is just to update towers for roaming.
When I update PRL with a Sprint adjusted for Verizon PRL I do get EvDo
