Security firm.McAfee warns that Google’s mobile operating system is being targeted by hackers more than any other platform. Android accounts for nearly all mobile malware and more than 14,000 threats have been discovered in the first three months of 2013 alone. Ya so the solution is probably to install McAfee on your phone (whatever that costs) and then wait and wait and wait and wait every time you try and do anything!!!

It is also very interesting that nowhere in this story does it mention how the devices become suseptable to attack it just vaguely says to be careful downloading apps and of course the infrance here is that their is a flaw with androids market place that make it a hackers paradise!

What a crock of SH*t

Once you start downloading apps from anywhere other then the market is when you get into trouble - OBVIOUSLY the market apps are controlled to a degree. Not as much as Apples market but when a security issue is identified it is cleaned up pretty quick. I would happily take that trade off to the ridged confines of apples market regulation.

In short its not what you download so much as where you download it from

Hasn't that always been the case?

Another no brain story
