How do you get the Sprint Overdrive Status Port to show up?

Novatell devices use status ports the OverdrivePro is a Sierra Wireless device and is completely different you have to create a virtual port but the old HW wont work you have to install HW for the correct drivers and then use
another vspm.

There is enough information online to get you into the device if you use GOOGLE!!!!!

Once your in you have to unlock it so you can write a custom configuration file to change some of the evdo settings. One of the problems with the overdrive is that it constantly updates and wipes the flash to get around this you have to customize the firmware to stop that.

Couldnt find anything with Google. Guess I was looking for the wrong thing. I did purchase this overdrive from someone and like you said, it tried to update... I'll look up that info though now that I know what to look for. Thanks.

Guys the overdrive pro is not the best device to start your flashing carrier on!

Might want to try something a little easier like the 2200

lol i figured that out after pulling all my hair from stress.. Elisa would you like to trade my sierra overdrive for one of your mifi2200
