View Full Version : Note about using QPST to flash Blackberry's to Cricket

In my experience in flashing Blackberry's to Cricket service, I have only been able to flash the Pearls, Curves, and the Storms with the newer version of QPST.

When I have tried it with the older models such as the 8703 and 7103's it has corrupted the SPC.

However, on the older models, I always use the QXDM or CDMA workshop to flash the PRL to the phone.

There is a solution out there somewhere to fix this problem however, it hasn't been posted.

I think CDMA Workshop the newest and registered 1 is the best software to find the SPC on almost any phone. I love it

If you start your own thread on this, that would be better. This thread covers QPST. There are addresses listed in the "Flashing Blackberry's to Cricket" section.

Thank you.

same here, i do all my blackberries through workshop 3.4.5(prl,spc,iota and evdo) then use legacy mode to write service books in desktop manager without having to reboot. drops the flash time to like a minute and a half lol

If you're doing more than one bb, then you should buck up and pay for cdma workshop. Flashing is easy.

I've heard they are not for sale anymore on here. But I haven't seen them anywhere from Tony so I am going to assume they are still for sale.

You have committed two forum violations in your first post. Please familiarize yourself with the forum rules to make this a more pleasant experience for all of our members.

1. Asking for or posting about the cracking of CDMA Workshop is prohibited. Period. It only costs about $108. If you are serious about flashing, come up with the money, it is useful.

2. You just hijacked this thread. Your post had nothing to do with the corrupt SPC of a Blackberry.

Other than that, I would like to welcome you to Gurus and happy searching!
