Here is the solution for flashing Moto Q's to Cricket service:

I've been using CeRegEditor to modify the necessary registry values to make MMS fully functional. I like this application because it runs from my PC, and I've found it to be much less of a hassle than installing a registry editor on the Q itself and then editing registry keys, especially for someone like me that flashes devices from remote locations.

Has anyone else experimented with CeRegEditor?

I haven't tried that particular one yet. I use the "Mobile Registry Editor" that does the same thing. I am able to work right from my pc on it. Typing in bs from a moto Q can be a pain. And then because the phone is slower than mollasses in January, it takes forever.

I use it alot. When your working with PPC's it is very useful. I like it because of the use of my big monitor and fullsize computer keyboard. I'm not straining my eyes!!!

I use mobile registry editor it is really good software. I want to know if we are editing the mms setting how can we rename it? for example in moto q it says VZW MMS I want to change it to CKT MMS.
