Hello all,
I think the phone tech was trying to brick my friends phone to get her to buy a new one. She was having some connectivity problems and after "high level tech support" was finished she had all 0s for her esn and phone, her system was set to auto b (verizon is always an A carrier), and her SLC was changed to god only knows what. They told her it was the esn fault it kept connecting to altell and her phone couldn't be fixed. I was in the wireless industry when all phones were programmed manually, so I am no stranger to the service menu. Without the SLC I have been unable to fix manually or with lgnpst. I can't get lg download to recognize the LG11K.dll and QXDM won't work without the SLC. It there a way to retrieve the SLC? Even if I do write the esn, I can't OTA or manually program the phone without being able to reset the SLC back to 000000.

Any Ideas? This has now become a matter of principal.
Thanks
Nick

you mean "spc"(service programming code) it should be 0's unless thats a prepaid phone in which case you will need workshop or to buy the spc. the dll i posted for you is not an lg download dll try lgnpst.but really workshop is what you need for what you are doing.

It is a postpaid and Yes the SPC. 000000 no longer works. It has been changed. It worked when the verizon phone rep had my friend put it in, but not later when I tried. This is both through the phone and through QXDM and LG Download pro. When I try to open phone settings on LGNPST it gives me an error. I tried an older version of cdma workshop and it would not recognize the SPC either. It also would not allow me to change the ESN. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

you will need one of the pay versions of cdma ws, wireless workshop or dfs,the calculators a few people have wont work because it sounds like someone put in a random spc for some dumb reason..lol

Use a terminal like cdma workshop connect the phone and send 11 17 00 06, It will show you what is the spc.
