Hello all,
I think the phone tech was trying to brick my friends phone to get her to buy a new one. She was having some connectivity problems and after "high level tech support" was finished she had all 0s for her esn and phone, her system was set to auto b (verizon is always an A carrier), and her SLC was changed to god only knows what. They told her it was the esn fault it kept connecting to altell and her phone couldn't be fixed. I was in the wireless industry when all phones were programmed manually, so I am no stranger to the service menu. Without the SLC I have been unable to fix manually or with lgnpst. I can't get lg download to recognize the LG11K.dll and QXDM won't work without the SLC. It there a way to retrieve the SLC? Even if I do write the esn, I can't OTA or manually program the phone without being able to reset the SLC back to 000000.
Any Ideas? This has now become a matter of principal.
Thanks
Nick
