This is the Full Flash solution to Cricket for the LG VX5500. I got this from Howard Forums and the software from M-F. Enjoy. I take no credit for coming up with this solution, just finding it.

Is this just a nvs restore file with a dll or is this a custom bin with logos and all the logs?

It is just the DLL for LGNPST for people to put in the settings for Cricket/Metro PCS. It is not a custom bin or scr.

I also use bitpim to load a custom cricket background to the phones then set to the front and main lcd.

use the dare for the model.

so i downloaded the file. but it is an rar file and i can't seem to get it open no matter what i do.

i already have the winrar. program on my computer, yet it is still not allowing me to unzip the file. any other suggestions??

If the file is winra format you just need to Extract the file that it.

when i tried to extract the file it was all uncomprehendable lines and dashes.

inside the .rar file there is another archive VX550V02.zip which contains a "VX550V02.bin". do you know what it is for? I need to flash a 5500 and if I could just load a .bin instead of getting lgnpst to work properly and proper version etc...that would be cool.
