Tri-Band
If you are in an AWS market you can NOT flash a phone to Cricket. You must use a Cricket or MetroPCS device.

Cricket AWS markets:

Las Vegas, NV

This means any phone that is not Cricket will not work. Quad band, Verizon, Sprint, and other phones are 850/900/1800/1900mhz devices, you need a Tri-Band device which is 850/1700/1900mhz for AWS markets.

to be honest i dont know where you got that info at but i know for a fact you can put BB's that have been fully flash'd on crickets BB service plan i have 3 8530's that i have flash'd
fully and they are on cricket BB service plan the only thing is this you may slower on it plus you need the aws prl to make to get full service and i have it thanks to a friend in cricket support

And SID is short for Station ID. This differs from city to city on any CDMA network such as Cricket, Verizon, etc. For example, Lincoln is 5756.

Google is your friend for these terms. For example, I typed in "SID Cell Phones" and it gave me the definition. My suggestion would be to create a post in the breakroom part of the forum and see if there is someone in your area. Most of us will do it for a reduced rate or perhaps a trade for something.

You can seriously damage your Droid if you do the wrong thing. It is fairly advanced and the process is lengthy. Not the best phone for a beginner.
