I hope I am posting in the correct forum. If not, I apologize in advance.

I have several Verizon Samsung a850 phones that I need to completely data clear. There is no way to do this manually within the phone that I can find. I considered doing a full flash, but could not find a full flash bin. This would also take quite a bit of time to do them all even if I did find it, but is still an option providing I could find a full flash bin.

CDMA WS has a "rebuild" area for Samsung phones, but neither the EEPROM nor the NVitems methods would do the rebuild.

I know that many Samsung phones will rebuild with the code "29" in test mode, but I could not find a way to bring up the test mode screen manually to try the code. I was thinking this might could be done by sending a DM command via WS, but am clueless as to how to go about it. Is there any reference guide anywhere that would tell me what all hex codes need to be sent so that I can send the "29" or a rebuild command to the phone via this method?

Any ideas on how to help me learn how to do a rebuild would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for helping. I tried the above commands and received a response, but nothing visibly happened to the phone.

after sending that command you need to dial 47*68#13580 then you can do rebuild 027 or 029 or you can clear memory 073 or 075. if that does not work dial 038.

Sorry 123456&. I just now saw your last response... a mere 11 months later. :/ Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. I tried both the 13580 and the 1235, but neither worked after sending the above DM codes. I do appreciate your help.

P.S. I'll try it with some other Sammy phones that I have to manually clear. if it works on any of them, I'll be sending you a donation. ;)
