Update to IOS 6.1 soon question?

Theres a lot of buzz that IOS 6.1 Untethered jailbreak will be released soon, I have MetroPCS 4.2.6 IOS with web/talk/text/mms , My question is do I need to flash my phone all over again or just update to IOS 6.1 and untethered jailbreak it? Thanks!

that depends on how you update it.you at minimum have to repatch commcenter and reload bundle for mms facetime imessage ect to work.
