kyocera rise SPC Code?

I am working with a kyocera rise from Virgin moble. After I put the phone in diag mode its not showing up as a modem or a com port. Can any one tell me how to get the phone to showup as a modem com port. I want to scan it using for the SPC code

you need the spc to read it.##port# in the dialer then after you buy the spc you can scan for it to find the address

Is ##port# = ##7678# ?when I dial it the phone tries to call ##7678#

still no luck with this phone. I am trying to find a way to have the com port show up so I can search for the spc using cdmatool

i just bought one of these off ebay to play with :) will try to build a flash for it in the coming week or so after i get it.

##3424# will get you a com port just switch diag to enable you will need the spc though

ok i got one of these yesterday,its......well.........a kyocera..lol.. anyway,i was able to pull the sytem.img from it and from that retrieve all the dial-er codes from the phone,here they are for you guys to play with. the only way so far i am see'n to get port access is thru bluetooth as we can enable it in the build.prop file,which of course requires root,so i will post the root process here also for you guys.the phone comes with a version of logcat built in,but cannot read spc by failing it there,nor can you with the logcat from the market, the the msl file is not ril in this phone, still may be possible to find with logcat but will need the correct keyword to filter,i i saw it in there but now i forget what it was..lol and sec_code is unreadable.any way,here is some stuff to play with.

maybe we will need to load the sprint firm on this phone to get at the port,since virgin spc's are so hard to get.[/hide-thanks]

i have one of these to work on but corrupted the build.prop file and seem to have lost the sd backup i had,so if someone could/would post a STOCK build.prop file for me i can get back to work on this phone and its spc.

i have the virgin one,the sprint one is already fully flashed and is simple to do if you have the spc,i did because i sell them,i just dont have access to virgins spc database. but like i said i have one of the vm phones so no need to send me one,i just need the build.prop file out of a virgin one to repair the one i have and i can start working on it again.

I have about 10 kyocera rise and I need a way to get the SPC so I can program them to a local cdma network. Did any one get any break through with this phone.

Anyone have access too the bootloader? I am rooted and can make backups as well but dangerous too have root & no custom based recovery such as cwm recovery, i dont know what spc codes do to help you guys flashing onto other carriers but neigher Kyocera nor Virgin mobile want too give access too bootloader even though rooting is legal in usa & cant effect service or warrenty they still gotta have some means of control on a supposedly open source operating system they lock down too there carriers when you buy the phone with your cash your money in my book its your phone too me Kyocera & Virgin mobile should be paying me for allowing there branding & names too remain on my phone i only rent the carriers airways just as virgin mobile only rents the towers of sprint that is a majority owned share of japan, just my feelings here, but if any of you have or can unlock bootloader& port cwm based recovery image onto it id love for the info help guide or even tool or procedures used thank you all

To get a MSL code only need go to google market and download Kyocera MSL Code.apk and setup in cellphone and bingo.. you will see the MSl code to acivate diag mode using ##Diag# on keydialer.. regards..

that wont work for the virgin mobile one,only the sprint one. the virgin one is missing the phone as modem apk and requires a script to get the com open.
