The big tools for iphones do nv editing. We need to have openssl and openssh to login to iPhone. Once logged on, I thought it involves editing plist files in the carrier bundles but it makes more sense editing system files in a hex editor. Or is it more deeper and working with low level assembly or something?
I'm jail broken, commcenter patched, iTunes patched, openssh and OpenSSL installed.... On my sprint 4s, I want to set nvitem 260's 4th byte to 1 .... This enables ota on sprint 4s. Rich Hathaway doesn't want to share this for obvious reasons.... I've been at it for at least 4 months already....
I got spc reset to 0 with plist edits but rich also pointed out memory address for spc code and I would like to look at it as well. Are we stumped on nv editing? Shed some light please? More clues?
