Facetime troubleshooting

Hello all, can anyone confirm facetime to be working on 3G? My facetime prompts me to use wifi instead of 3g and im wondering if its the software detecting 3G (as opposed to 4G) thus preventing its use. Or maybe its a facetime setting in the carrier plist that needs to be changed.

Simple google search pointed me to the right direction. Need to edit n92ap.plist in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app.
