no i wont,they contact me asking me to raise the price to 100 with them.i wont do that,i wont get into a price war with them either. our tool is far superior.but if it is worth it for you waiting for hours/days for credits and having to fight with security errors and disonnects then reconnect then disconnect to save 15 bucks then your a dfs customer not a iphonecdmatool.com customer.

if you have used the tool then you know you can flash in 2 minutes,i never even did one with dfs in less than a day because of credit and other probs.

No you dont have to remove the "metro flash talk n text" from your account. Actually you can go down to the $40 plan and you will still get everything unlimited. Everything will work fine with no problems

I am stuck on 4g verizon 32 gb, did all things as normal. comcenter patch, cricket bundle and iphone cdmatool. I keep getting phone is not activated yet and there is no cricket on the banner just 3g. Any ideas where to start.

kirk,uninstall the bundle and the cc patch then reinstall then reflash and after you reflash,read the phone again to make sure that everything sticks,pay special attention to the 1x and 3g passwords.

that was it when i remove the bundle it work it got the banner and ota worked. I try to install the bundle for the mms now.

Yes currently with our tool you can program a VERIZON or SPRINT iphone 4(NOT 4s right now) to ANY CDMA carrier with our software. So yes pageplus and revol is no problem. We do have mms bundles for both. So you will definitely get talk, text, web and mms no problem.

My store has use the software lot so far and had not have any trouble. The one time I did have trouble it got fix right away, which had nothing to do with the software.

Did my iPhone 4 on metro working today on Metro PCS. Talk, text, & web works. Thanks to rich and the easy tool.

But the mms is not working. I tried changing the APN settings after installing TetherMeAPN Editing from the source cydia.myrepospace.com/fernas/ and following Mikedragon's post. But it's still not working. It gives me an error message. Do I need to something else? Is there any commcenter patch Metropcs carrier bundle I can install for it to work?

I tried getting help through Skype, but the status is offline all the time.

If anyone can please help me make the mms working please. I would really appreciate it.

auto carrier bundle support is being added now,and will hopefully be ready in a couple days.it will give mms,facetime,hotspot.for metro 3g is not possible in all areas.but your mnc,mcc should be 31000 for the usa. if you are still having trouble,hit our live support on skype (iPhoneCDMATool.com)

Ok well that makes sense then. So what prl should i be using? I used the 02004 EVDO from the forum here. I just kinda guessed at it cause i didnt know what to use and my data speeds are slow. I did however get my MMS working by installing tetherme and editing the Cellular data network settings.

Well at first i didnt have the 3g indicator in the status bar when i used the 2004 prl. Then all i did was change the prl to the 3030 and the 3g logo appeared. I wouldnt quite call it 3g though cause its slow speeds. But it works and i also got mms picture messaging working.

Im still waiting on rich to confirm all my settings are correct though, so i wouldn't follow in my footsteps to closely yet.

Ok well first used the read option to populate all the fields and then i corrected all the info as needed. Then i used the "write prl" option and selected the 3030 prl. After it finished i hit the "write" tab to the right of the tool and let it finish. Then i just hit disconnect and that was it. I still dont get 3g speeds though, even though it says 3g.

And im still a little confused as to weather we hit the "write prl" tab first or the "write" tab first. Or if we are supposed to even use both of them. And if so in what order.

Well to be honest with you i think i pretty much have it all figured out and yes the tool is easy to use once you figure out all the settings. Im pretty sure i have all the settings correct and the phone seems to be functioning well despite the slow data speeds.

Ok thanks. So all settings look good? I did as much research as i could and was pretty sure i got it all correct. I've tried a few prls out and did some speed tests but they all seem to be pretty much the same. What type of 3G speeds should we be seeing on metro?

and before this i was able to write information to iphone, talk and text worked fine but no data.

i originally flashed this phone with dfs when they launched. web was working fine. I reset the phone to get rid of all the previous owners information. After that i reflashed it but i could never get web back on. sprint's activation failed keeps popping up but i still get serive.

I tried to flash with your tool Rich but I cant get web. Should I restore it and reflash it again?

using the software can get most of the functions to work, but it doesn't seem to fix that activation pop-up problem.

also, with cricket, i think the MMS is not going to work as long as the phone has that activation pop-up (no authentication activation).

what can we do?

try the ota if it doesnt work and the phone wont activate after the tool,then you probly will need to do a full DFU restore then reflash.

nv item 0 is hard coded in the phone and cannot be changed by simply writing that nv item.

Sorry man i didn't mean to imply that it wasn't a big deal. I was just curious what it was. This is all new to me so im still in the learning process when it comes to CDMA iPhones and flashing to other carriers. Im used to working with GSM iPhones which seem to be way simpler, just pop in your sim and edit the the carrier settings if needed.

and at work i can sometimes get download speeds up to 1mbps. Is that decent for metro? Or should i be seeing faster speeds.

This one was previously activated with sprint pcs. Do you think the difference is because of the previous activation status. Already restored it a couple of times but still it keeps asking to ota. a little more info please.what carrier are u flashing to now? and was the phone flashed with a different software before? what market r u in and does your phone still show all its mac address's and its meid.and does your prl show in the about menu. you can get live support on skype if you wish.

Ok well first used the read option to populate all the fields and then i corrected all the info as needed. Then i used the "write prl" option and selected the 3030 prl. After it finished i hit the "write" tab to the right of the tool and let it finish. Then i just hit disconnect and that was it. I still dont get 3g speeds though, even though it says 3g.

And im still a little confused as to weather we hit the "write prl" tab first or the "write" tab first. Or if we are supposed to even use both of them. And if so in what order.

So what prl are you using?

I have used these PRLs:
3018, 3022, 3026, 2027, 3028, 3029, 3030.

In combination with these SIDs:
6503, 6504, 6509, 5037, 5007, 5109, 5023, 5097, 5167, 5199, 4815, 4273.

I don't get the 3G symbol on the status bar only the "o" symbol is showing there. Based on my results, I am getting 1x speeds. I do have an HTC metropcs branded phone with sonic speeds maybe 30x faster than what I'm getting with my iPhone. speeds seem to be slow either way.
I tested 3G when I went into town, I had full signal strength, 3G up top and it topped out at ".13Mbps" per the Speedtest App.

A buddy of mine has an android phone flashed over to metro and and im pretty sure he gets decent 3G speeds. I've never heard him complain about them anyway. But ill double check with him.

I know there are legit Metropcs users around here getting 3G speeds on their Metro phones. (same towers, same location, same signal strength, just metropcs phones)

After i restored it it was no longer activated with sprint. For example it now tries to activate over the air but fails every time. So I always choose ignore. Talk and text works but web wont work. Other sprint iphones that show sprint pcs on top of phone that i flashed to metro and pageplus hat web working. The ones that want to ota and fail, wont get web when i flash it. The web worked fine when i flashed it before i did the restore. After restore i reflashed it, now no web.

I agree with you. I have the same problem where Im at. I can not get 3g. I have been in the metro corporate store looking at the metro phones get 3g and 4g with no problems wondering why mines cant. i know ALOT of people at the corporate store. So today they gave me a phone that gets 3G to experiment with. Me and rich going to see if we can get this problem sorted tonite. I know its not a problem with the settings or tool. Like I said, MANY of our customers get 3G. Its just in some markets 3g wont pick up. Hopefully by sunday we'll figure this problem out

Do a *228 and just update the roaming list and it will activate the phone again. If for some reason that doesnt work, contact me or rich via skype support and we'll get you sorted. Dont worry this is a simple problem you have.

the problem with that sprint phone is the ota is disabled bt default in 3 places on the phone.what you can do for now to get it activated is dl the cricket bundle (cc patch first) then ota with metro,then uninstall the cricket bundle,that will get rid of the cricket logo for you.

Ok well i just used your new updated tool and it works like magic. Phone works great! but one thing i did notice is that after the carrier bundle flash it changed my sid to 2004 vs the 6503 i was using. And i Notice under cellular data network the APN setting for "Cellular Data" and "MMS" is blank when before i had it set to "metropcs". Despite all this the phone works good, data and mms. Should i be concerned about the sid and change it back to 6503 and should i edit the apn settings back to metropcs?

First off let me start off by saying I'm a complete noob at flashing, this will be my first time...
okay so i bought the tool not knowing iPhone 4s originally from sprint was not supported yet. so of course when i connected it, it said it was unsupported. thats what i get for not reading enough.
My question is how long till the 4s is supported? Im sure this has been asked but i kind of told my 62 year old dad that it was up and ready to go which is why he dished out the money fast.. OOPS! i just don't want to disappoint him and have him lose out on $75. I just flashed a Boost Transform Ultra to Metro PCS yesterday, in the Orlando area. I don't know if it's different in other markets, but here the M.IP settings are (from an official Metro branded phone):

Mobile IP Profile 0 is configured as:

HA Shared Secret - A unique 16 character (as written) text string of uppercase letters and numbers (this is probably wrong/missing on phones that aren't getting 3G)

It's probably that HA password that's spoiling the party. If Metro won't/can't give it to you, the only other method I can think of for getting it onto an iPhone would involve methods y'all aren't keen on. :dispirited:

that is not it.we have that value for that pass correct and it has no effect.and we cannot set the gateway to mip only,it must be mip/sip,even though the metro phones use mip only.

and with metro - is there a way to get the visual voicemail working?
before when it was in the bottom tab, when you hit the icon it just dialed my voicemailbox. nothing came up on screen for playing the message, calling the person, etc.

yes ignore the update,they are bad unless you just like using the tool and reflashing.lol
vvm will not work with metro,they do not support it. only carriers that have official ip will support it and not all of them. i will add vvm to a few of the bundles for carriers that support it.

yes right now there is sid bug that we are fixing.so what this means is you need to load the carrier bundle first then write the prl and flash the settings to the phone. if you write the bundle last it will reload the incorrect sid over your freshly written sid. this is possibly your issue. so just plug your phone and check your settings.no need to re-write the bundle again,rather just ck your settings.

why would i do that? all the ip4 cdma models are half flashable without any softwares.

Problem in my non-ota area, unless I can get bundles made for me, only thing I can think of.
