Droid HW Virtual Serial Port issues

Im trying to flash my Motorola Droid 1 to Verzion $50 Plan. I cant for the life of me get this thing to connect to HW Virtual Serial. Im on Windows 7 32 bit. I hold T at boot. all the installed fine. I run HW as admin login put 198.168.1.2 and port 11008 and uncheck NVT enabled all that if tried most all ports all FAIL. I ping the 198.168.1.2 on cmd and get qucik 4 repsones. Ive tried differnt roms and stock (2.1, 2.2, 2.2.3. Rooted and unrooted it will not connect for anything.

What version of HWVSP are you using? I always used the oldest version for that phone and had no problems.

did not work for me window 7 either ,,,,,,,,,,try windows xp will work like charm,,,,,,,,,,

Its not 192.168.1.2 its 192.168.16.2
