im using hardware 0004 how do i swp i got about 13 esn locations ..the meid changed but then changed rite back 2 normal...im lost...

What hardware version is the phone?? as long as its not hw0004 then just downgrade the rom and use the easy method to repair the meid..then go back to gingerbread....simple

I can't give specific help, being such a newb and all, but I can give some encouragement. I have 0004 hardware and GB 2.3.3 and now have a perfect phone (knock on wood). Reading about the difficulties above, I downloaded all the software I thought the job might need - cdma ws, qpst 2.7_366, qxdm 3.12.714, ***, and then TeamView for remote interactive access in Win XP and I got some experienced help to do the memory work, hex code stuff. I did do some myself like rooting with Revolutionary. Then after my phone was all mostly good with the expert help I still had no MMS capability. I fixed that by correcting the MMS server via ##data#>Advanced (had to use a password of 000000). Toadal joy here! Then I installed ROM Manager, backed up and put in Team Nocturnal's Stock_RLS 5.0 ROM. Pretty cool and it kept my previous config and wallpaper. I hooked up to XP with HTC Sync and got all my previous contacts that were saved in Outlook from my old phone and Bob's my uncle!
