The 2200's at this time are what I would consider dead. For the past two hours several of my hacker friends have been programing/reprogramming a mifi 4510L (not flashing) but using the sim card to block VZ's hits. So far it is working and we will continue to try and improve what we have already done. Although you may not agree with our logic we consider the sims to be just like the dtv cards of the past and that is what we are directing our resources on. Yes we may be barking up the wrong tree and the coon may come down and bite us in the backside..but you never know...we might have coon for dinner!

I will keep you informed should we find a lasting fix....do not ask about buying...whatever we do is for fun and free to all.

What success has anyone experienced with this method?.... Basically does it continue working or are the keys being reset just as before?

We are seeing about 90% retention rating over 500 devices in the last 4 weeks working in various states - FL - TX - IN - KY - WY - TN - AL - SC - NJ - NY

We know that two things will kill the device almost immediately - XBOX - PlayStation ect and Streaming Music or Video for any length of time also if you read the terms and condtions for just about all the prepaid carriers there is a streaming data clause in them (even boost) informing the user that streaming data can lead to the suspension or termination of the account or the ability to use data. We have found out that a lot of people - a lot - are using these devices for online gaming via consuls. This will not work no matter what carrier or plan you put them on anymore!!!

Would be nice to see a screen shot of the firmware from 192.168.1.1

I've been changing firmware with DFS since it has been available and for example if you install Verizon firmware on a Sprint device it seems to be changing a lot more (QCSBLH, QCSBL, OEMSBL, AMSSModem, CEFS2, NW_Router) nearly 8Mb more than what this small 71Kb file is. What exactly is this file changing?
